Step 1. Inventory or a scenario product

When selecting an inventory or scenario product, think of what kind of product you are adding to Pickler.

Inventory product: Select when you want to create an ecoforecast for a real world product that you sell. Eco forecasts for inventory products can be shared outside of Pickler, because they represent actual products.

Scenario product: Select for any non-existing products or products that are not in your actual inventory. Scenario products allow you more flexibility within Pickler, such as changing the end of life.

Step 2. Product name

Enter the name of your product.

For inventory products: this is usually the name you use internally as well.

For scenario products: it's good practise to describe what you product you are trying to recreate.

Example:

You have duplicated your inventory product called biodegradable box L.

You have duplicated this product in to a scenario product, because you want to know what happens if you change to plastic.

Best practise is to name this product biodegradable box L (plastic scenario)

Step 3. Industry and category

Select the industry your packaging is most used for. After selecting the industry, the category becomes available too.
