What Pickler Does Not Do
While Pickler provides accurate data and calculation tools to support responsible claims, we cannot control how users apply this information or the claims they make. Our platform is designed to help users make informed decisions, but each user is ultimately responsible for verifying their own data inputs, ensuring compliance, and interpreting results responsibly.
This means the following:
Data Verification: Pickler calculates environmental footprints using a standardized methodology but does not verify user-provided data, making result accuracy dependent on the data entered.
Data Input Responsibility: Users must provide accurate data on product details like material quantities, energy use, and transport, as this information directly impacts the reliability of the assessment.
Claim Verification: Claims made based on Pickler's calculations are the user’s responsibility; Pickler does not verify these claims.
Regulatory compliance: Pickler provides a foundation for environmental claims, but users are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and any legal implications.
