How does AI support work in Pickler?
Pickler follows an AI-first support approach to help users get answers faster and more consistently.
Our AI support is trained on Pickler’s internal knowledge base, including platform documentation, calculation methodology, onboarding guidance, sustainability communication guidelines, and support content. This allows users to quickly find answers directly within the platform and Help Center.
AI support can help with:
using the Pickler platform;
understanding calculations and results;
product modeling and data mapping;
missing data guidance;
sustainability communication;
and general support questions.
While AI support handles most day-to-day questions, you can always contact a human directly by emailing [email protected].
According to our Terms of Service, we respond to questions and complaints within 5 calendar days. In practice, we aim to respond to most support requests within 1 business day.
Can Pickler review or validate an existing LCA or EPD?
No. Pickler is not an independent LCA verification or consultancy party that validates whether an LCA, study, or EPD has been carried out correctly from a methodological perspective.
Pickler enables users to model products based on available product, material, and supply chain data using Pickler’s verified Fast-Track LCA methodology.
Existing LCAs or EPDs can be used as input or reference material for product modeling in Pickler, but methodological validation remains the responsibility of the original issuer or an independent verification body.
Can Pickler use my existing LCA or EPD data?
This depends. If you already have an LCA or EPD for a specific material, component, or processing method, this data may be usable within Pickler.
Pickler can request IDEMAT to review whether the dataset can be added to the Pickler database and converted into eco-cost data for use within Pickler calculations.
Acceptance depends on whether the dataset meets IDEMAT’s methodological and data quality requirements.
The cost for reviewing and processing a new dataset is €1,000.
Does Pickler verify the accuracy of uploaded product data?
No. Pickler calculates environmental impacts using a standardized methodology, but does not independently verify user-provided product data.
The reliability of results depends on the accuracy and completeness of the data entered by the user, including material composition, weights, transport distances, energy usage, and production details.
