By using the request form below, you can request specific materials to be uploaded to IDEMAT. The more details we have, the better we will be able to process the request.
Before we can process your request, consider the following:
Is the material you are requesting company-specific or generally available to the public?
YES: Please provide a publicly accessible link to the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for the material. This will allow us to process your request efficiently.
NO: We require specific information from your supplier to process your request. Please ask your supplier to provide the following:
A full Bill of Material (BOM) and composition of the material (fx. what is the distribution of materials in the requested product).
Total energy expended (kWh and MJ) during material production.
Waste distribution breakdown for material production.
When you send us an email, please use the following subject line:
Material Request for IDEMAT: [material name]
Once you have filled in the details above (or as much of it as you can) you can send it in an email to [email protected]. He will then handle your request. Keep in mind that we aim to upload new materials every four weeks or so, depending on how accessible the data is. Once a new batch of materials has been uploaded you will be able to read about it here.
Why This Data is Necessary
Accurate and comprehensive data is essential for proper material integration within IDEMAT. Often, requested materials contain components already present in the database. To avoid redundancy and ensure data consistency, we require specific information about the material's composition and production process. This allows us to accurately map the new material within IDEMAT and link it to existing data whenever applicable.

That's it! We look forward to handling your future material requests. Should you have any questions regarding the above, then don't hesitate to reach out!
