Understanding the impact Widget

Learn what the widget is and how to use it

Updated this week

The Pickler widget lets you display environmental impact data from a Pickler product passport directly on your own website or platform.

It is a small, embeddable widget that shows verified impact data—such as carbon footprint, eco-costs, or eco score—and links back to the full Pickler impact report.

What the widget shows

The widget displays selected impact data from a product passport, for example:

  • Carbon footprint

  • Eco-costs

  • Eco score

When clicked, the widget flips to show:

  • A breakdown of lifecycle stages

  • Additional context

  • A direct link to the full Pickler impact report

All data shown comes straight from the product passport and stays in sync with Pickler.

How it works

From a product passport in Pickler:

  1. Open a Product Passport

  2. Click Share

  3. Select Embed widget

  4. Copy the provided HTML iframe code

  5. Paste it anywhere you want to display the widget

The widget can be embedded on product pages, customer portals, internal tools, or any website that supports HTML.

Why use the Pickler widget

  • Always up to date
The widget reflects the latest data in your Pickler account—no manual updates needed.

  • Transparent by design
Every widget links back to the underlying impact report, so results are verifiable and explainable.

  • Compliant communication
The widget is designed in line with the Green Claims Directive and has been audited by the ACM, supporting compliant sustainability communication.

When to use it

Use the Pickler widget when you want to:

  • Share impact data publicly or with customers

  • Support sustainability claims with verifiable data

  • Avoid static PDFs or disconnected visuals

In short: the Pickler widget helps you show trusted impact data where decisions are made, backed by a clear link to the full product passport.
