Exporting Impact Data for Internal Reporting

Export Pickler’s impact results to Excel or BI tools like Power BI and Tableau to combine them with your sales, finance, and reporting data.

Updated over a week ago

Exporting environmental impact data allows you to use Pickler’s calculation results in your own internal systems and BI tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

By exporting impact data, you can combine environmental results with business data like sales volumes, revenue, customers, regions, or product categories, and use them in your existing reporting workflows.

This allows you to:

  • combine impact data with sales data to create yearly impact reports for customers

  • export CSRD-related data for internal reporting or customer disclosures

  • analyse environmental impact alongside financial and operational data

  • build custom dashboards and reports tailored to your needs

What Data you can export from Pickler

The export contains a comprehensive set of product metadata, impact indicators, lifecycle-stage results, ESRS-aligned eco-costs, and data quality indicators.

This includes, among others:

  • total eco-costs and carbon footprint (per single product and per kg)

  • lifecycle-stage breakdowns (material, production, transport, end of life)

  • ESRS E1–E5 aligned eco-cost indicators

  • data quality indicators (primary, secondary, default data, and data gaps)

How You Get the Data

Impact data can be exported from Pickler as an Excel (.xlsx) file, which contains all calculated results for your products. This file can be imported into your BI or reporting tool and used as the basis for dashboards, analyses, or internal reports.

For teams that want to avoid manual exporting and importing, Pickler also offers an API integration. Using the API, impact data can be connected directly to your ERP, data warehouse, or BI environment, ensuring your reports always use the most up-to-date calculation results without manual handling.

The Excel export provides a snapshot of your impact results at a specific moment, while the API enables a more continuous and automated data flow.
