Where can I find end of life region sources that Pickler uses?

Pickler uses IDEMAT’s public End-of-Life data to apply realistic regional recycling, incineration and landfill percentages to your packaging.

Updated this week

Pickler uses the official End-of-Life tables from IDEMAT (TU Delft).
These tables show, per material and per region, how waste is typically treated — for example, how much paper is recycled in the EU, how much plastic is incinerated in the Netherlands, or how much glass ends up in landfill in the USA.

The data is based on public, verifiable sources, including:

  • National and EU waste statistics

  • Industry recycling reports (paper, plastics, glass, metals, etc.)

  • Government publications and scientific studies

How Pickler uses it

When you select an End-of-Life region, Pickler applies those region-specific disposal percentages to each material in your packaging. This ensures your results reflect realistic local waste treatment.
